POLICY PRIORITIES

I believe in funding the future our district deserves and ensuring funding to public schools, not diverting taxpayer dollars to private vouchers. Despite state disinvestment, Ferguson-Florissant schools have made real progress. As your State Representative, I will fight to invest in public education so every student can thrive.

Electricity, water, gas, and internet are necessities, not luxuries. As your State Representative, I will fight utility rate hikes, expand assistance for low-income families, support real energy-efficiency programs, and push for affordable, reliable service.

I will defend Missouri’s initiative petition process so everyday people, not politicians, can put issues on the ballot and have their voices heard.

Healthcare is a human right. I will fight to protect and expand Medicaid, lower costs, and prevent hospital closures. I support mental health and addiction services so families can get care when they need it.

Our district overwhelmingly voted Yes on Amendment 3 (75%), and I will honor that vote. Abortion access is healthcare and decisions about abortion belong with patients and their doctors, not politicians.

Missourians deserve safe, fair housing. I will work to strengthen tenant protections, hold negligent landlords accountable, and support housing and economic development that serves the 73rd district, not outside interests.

Survivors of community violence, domestic violence and sexual assault deserve protection and support. As your State Representative I will advocate for stronger survivor-centered laws and push for action in cases of missing people in our community.
